James R. Brittle Sr.
WAKEFIELD—James Randolph “Randy” Brittle Sr., 63, died June 7, 2009.
A memorial service was held June 10 at 11 a.m. at Thomaston Road Church of Christ, Macon, Ga., with Rob Robinson officiating.
Mr. Brittle was born in Suffolk to the late John Samuel and Mary Leigh Brittle.
He was retired from J.C. Penney’s with 23 years of service and was employed with Five Star Dodge.
He was a member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Betty Hancock Brittle of Macon; son and daughter-in-law, James R. Jr. and Kim Brittle of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Allison Margaret Brittle of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Brittany Carole Brittle, Thomas Paxton Brittle, John Randolph (Jack) Brittle and James Holland Brittle; and a brother, Horace Lee Brittle and wife Jean of Waverly.
The family will receive friends at Purviance Chapel, J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Wakefield, Sept. 4 from 2 to 3:45 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Wakefield Cemetery at 4 p.m.
