Margaret E. Smith
BOYKINS—Margaret Eglantine Revelle Smith, 83, widow of Curry Wilson Smith, died Aug. 25, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in the Ashley’s Grove Community, the daughter of the late Myrtle Evans and Tommie Clayton Revelle and was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Revelle and Talbert Revelle.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Boykins Baptist Church and its Ruth Class and the Tarrara Woman’s Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Wilson Smith Murray and husband Joe of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Jo Revelle Murray and Margaret Bardin Murray; and one brother, Carson Revelle of Murfreesboro.
The funeral will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at Boykins Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Bunn officiating. Interment will follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence.
Memorial donations may be made to Boykins Baptist Church or Boykins Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
