Ella H. Vinson
WINTON, N.C.—Ella Mae Hall Vinson, 87, died Aug. 18, 2009, at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Ms. Vinson was born Dec. 23, 1921, the daughter of the late William Andrew Hall and Lula Mae Liverman Hall.
She was a member of Winton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Elliott Lee Vinson Jr. of Sunfield, Mich., Robert Eugene Vinson and wife Kay of Winton, Gloria Jean Vinson Thum and Linda Marie Vinson Jernigan and husband Steve, all of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Rebecca Irene Vinson Davidson and husband Joey of Colerain, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services was held Friday at 11 a.m. at Winton Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Futrell officiating.
Burial followed at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Winton Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are being handled by Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, N.C.
