IVOR—Inell Woodard Holloman, 79, died Aug. 16, 2009, at her residence.
She was a native of Southampton County, and the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emma Scott Woodard.
She was also predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Holloman; and one daughter, Doris D. Woodard.
Mrs. Holloman retired from the Southampton Public School System.
She was a member of New Branch Baptist Church and Morning Star Missionary Society.
Survivors include three sons, Luther P. Woodard of Richmond, Alvin Woodard (Deborah) of Wakefield and James P. Woodard (Jennie) of Waverly; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Shirley Edwards, Evelyn Holloman and Virginia M. Clark; one brother, Delano L. Woodard (Florence) of Wakefield; sisters-in-law, Virginia Holloman, Alice Price, Florence Woodard and Patricia Woodard; nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at New Branch Baptist Church, Ivor, officiated by the Rev. Frank L. Aikens Sr.
Interment will be in Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Alvin and Deborah Woodard, 135 Williams Lane, Wakefield.
