William L. Peace
SUFFOLK—William “Billy” Leslie Peace, 70, died Aug. 16, 2009, at his home.
Born in Southampton County, he was the son of the late Elizabeth M. and William L. Peace Sr., and was also predeceased by his brothers, Arthur “Red” and Melvin; daughter, Cindy; and granddaughter, Nicole.
Mr. Peace was a plumber in Suffolk for 40 years and was the owner of Peace Plumbing since 1986.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sandra; son, Johnny L. Peace (Alice); daughter, Jennifer Walker (Mike); grandchildren, David, Dallas, Caitlyn and Courtnie; and brothers, Henry, Crafton and Charles.
A funeral will be conducted today at 1 p.m. at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Rev. Jim George with burial in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
