James B. Saunders
CHESAPEAKE—James B. Saunders, 61, died Aug. 13, 2009.
He was born July 18, 1948, to the late Molly Saunders Woodhouse and Henry Saunders in Franklin.
Mr. Saunders was a retired police officer from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.
Survivors include his wife, Maichelle Saunders; two daughters, Crystal S. White and Charmaine Saunders; two sons, Keith Saunders and Jermaine Saunders; one sister, Celecia Weaver; one brother, Henry Saunders Jr.; five grandchildren; in-laws, Susie and Johnny Porcher; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave., Norfolk.
Interment was in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
