FRANKLIN – A routine agenda awaits three new members of the city school board at their first meeting Thursday.

Edna King, Glenn Hopkins and Will Councill will participate in their first meeting since being appointed last week to the school board’s at-large, Ward 1 and Ward 2 seats, respectively.

According to Thursday’s agenda, board members will complete an organizational plan of the school board. The plan was started during the July meeting, but it wasn’t completed pending the results of school board appointments.

There will also be a presentation from Superintendent Dr. Michelle Belle on the school division’s Pandemic Influenza Awareness and Action Plan.

The open session begins at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
