Floyd W. Freeman
COLERAIN, N.C.—Floyd Wayne Freeman, 37, died Aug. 4, 2009, at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C.
A native of Bertie County, he was a member of Ashland Baptist Church in Merry Hill, N.C., and worked at Sidney Farms.
Survivors include his father, Ned Freeman Jr. of Colerain; a son, Montreal Kevion Brown of Robersonville, N.C.; a daughter, Breana Andreaus Parker of Ahoskie, N.C.; three brothers, Ned Freeman III of Colerain, John Lee Freeman of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Adrian La’Mont Freeman of Colerain; two sisters, Gloria Ann Freeman of Colerain and Lillian Ann Batts of Drum Hill, N.C.
A funeral was held Monday at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Colerain with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson.
Burial took place in the church cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, handled the arrangements.
