Annie H. Davis
CHESAPEAKE—Annie Maude Hatfield Davis, 93, died July 31, 2009.
A native of Southampton County, she was the daughter of the late Carr and Berta Barham Hatfield and the wife of the late Lonnie H. Davis Jr.
She was a member of Norview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Kirk; a son, Donald R. Davis Sr. and wife Carole; a sister, Ruth Shifflett; three grandchildren, Robin Kirk, Krista Swindle and husband Jason, and Donald R. Davis Jr. and wife Jennie; six great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral was held Tuesday in Norview Baptist Church with Pastor Michael C. Smith officiating.
Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
