Thomas S. Long
CONWAY, N.C.—Thomas Sherlock Long, 66, died July 26, 2009, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Savannah Warren Long and Thomas Long and was born in Pendleton, N.C. on Feb. 23, 1943.
His occupation was a heavy equipment operator. He loved fishing, playing softball and helping others.
Survivors include his loving his wife Debrah Dickens Long of the home; one daughter, Sherlette Fenwich of Maryland, and one son, Frankie Long of Richmond; one granddaughter, Blossom Fenwich of Maryland; two aunts, Bernice Warren and Lorette Lane, both of Long Branch, N.J.; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at First Baptist Church, Conway at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark A. Barfield officiating.
Interment will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hood’s Funeral Home in Conway are in charge of funeral care arrangements.
