ROXBORO, N.C.—Melvin Dawson, 58, formerly of Branchville, died July 18, 2009, at Hock Family Pavilion, Durham, N.C.
Survivors include his mother, Beatrice Johnson Dawson of Branchville; his siblings, Thomas Dawson (Marion) and Jesse Lee Dawson (Carrie), all of Franklin, Annie Ruth Dawson of Boykins, Harold Dawson and Shaunda Dawson, both of Branchville and Grayling Dawson of Durham, N.C.
Faison’s Funeral Home Inc., Seaboard, N.C., is handling the arrangements, where a funeral service was held Tuesday with the Rev. Mark Barfield, officiating.
Interment followed in Galilee Baptist Church cemetery, Branchville.
