Mary T. Edwards
IVOR—Mary Taylor Edwards, 92, died July 17, 2009, in her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the Ladies Bible Class.
She loved her knitting and crocheting as well as baking cakes.
Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Gwaltney Lee Edwards Sr; sons, Gwaltney Lee Edwards Jr. and wife Anne, Wayne T. Edwards and wife Linda, all of Smithfield; daughter, Joan Ragland and husband, Gene, of Scottsville; sister, Betty Drymon of Monument, Colo.; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Kay Gentry and Lowell Petry officiating.
