Mary E. Wyche
FRANKLIN—Mary Elizabeth Wyche died July 8, 2009, in Chesapeake.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Long.
Survivors include one son, Willie Whitehead (Chiquesia) of Franklin; six grandchildren, Nikiyah Whitehead, Ny’Asia Whitehead and William Whitehead of Franklin, Kalimah Abdul-Sabur of Maryland, Fatima Abdul-Sabur and Yasmein Abdul-Sabur of Washington, D.C.; seven great-grandchildren and her devoted companion, Carnell Hartsfield.
A homegoing service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Diamond Grove Baptist Church.
The interment will be held in the church cemetery.
Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.
