Derick B. Carlson
WINDSOR—Derick Brian Carlson, 47, died July 4, 2009, at his home.
Born in Eugene, Ore., he was self employed as a battery sales and serviceman.
He was the son of Patricia Finley of Wytheville, and Robert Job Carlson and wife Patricia of Ohio.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Donna M. Carlson; son, Ryan Carlson; daughter, Mandi Carlson; sisters, Tammy Dunagan and husband Keith of Wytheville and Allison Jennings and husband Larry of West Virginia.
He is also survived by caring former in-laws, Charles and Marie Shupe and by his former wife, Beverly Meador, along with many special friends.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 7 p.m. in R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by John Hughes.
