Ernest L. Lawrence
MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Ernest Linwood Lawrence, 79, died June 23, 2009, at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Johnson Lawrence; a daughter, Loraine Davis; and sons, Ronald Lawrence and David Lawrence, all of Chesapeake; three step-sons, David Quinton Parker of Newport, N.C. and Carroll Keith Parker and Arnold Stacy Parker, both of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Oak City Cemetery, Oak City, N.C. with the Rev. Wint Hale officiating.
