Margaret A. Howard
CHESAPEAKE—Margaret Ann Howard, 79, died June 21, 2009.
A native of Como, N.C., she was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence S. and Janie L. Beale and a daughter, Mildred Kaye Temple.
Mrs. Howard was a member of Geneva Park Church of Christ and was well known for her many crochet gifts.
Survivors include three daughters, JoAnn Lewis of Oregon, Carol Sue Tarkington of Chesapeake and Mary Jane Stark of Virginia; 13 beloved grandchildren; and 10 beloved great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. in Geneva Park Church of Christ by the Rev. Roger Marvel.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Sturtevant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
