Just like old times

The Village At Woods Edge invited residents, family members and staff to its 2009 Street Festival, where everyone enjoyed entertainment, food and fellowship.

The sounds of a bluegrass band and the smell of freshly grilled chicken filled the air, while residents visited with family members and friends.

Many residents enjoyed a funnel cake for the very first time, and the lines for cotton candy, popcorn and icees were long.

Toes were tapping along with the Southern Sensation cloggers who made a special appearance for the occasion. Franklin’s 1938 antique Ford fire engine was on display, along with several other antique automobiles that children and residents were invited to hop in and check out.
