Mary B. White
NEWPORT NEWS—Mary Blanch White, 96, died June 12, 2009.
She was a loving devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her children, Denise Harrell and Charlene Pitts; grandchildren, Carla L. Whiteside of Fort Worth, Texas, Steven D. Pitts and Shaundell D. Pitts, both of Newport News, and Seth D. Pitts of Baltimore, Md.; and one sister, Clarice D. White of Windsor.
Viewing will be held two hours prior to the service today.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Baptist Memorial Cemetery, Smithfield.
The family will receive friends and assemble at 12727 Sandpebble Circle No. 21, Newport News, VA by 10 a.m. Friday.
