WILLIAMSBURG—Keith Jackson died June 8, 2009, in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
His life’s journey began on Jan. 12, 1968, the son of Brenda Woodson and the late Edmond Jackson.
On Jan. 18, 2009, heconfessed his faith in Christ and joined Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, under the Pastorship of the Rev. J. Barber.
Mr. Jackson was educated in the Hampton Public Schools. At the time of his untimely death, he was employed by Pomoco Auto Sales, Hampton.
He also was a member of the Waverly Youth Association. He was a loving and kind person who will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Marquera Delk and Marquint Delk of Williamsburg, Elexis Ponton of Hampton, Knakita Tucker, Keith Tucker and Kevin Tucker, all of Raleigh, N.C.; his grandchildren, Elijah Wapples and Tristin Ziion Groves; his mother, Brenda Woodson of Williamsburg; his grandmother, Thelma Thomas of Waverly; his sisters, Tess Edelen (Joe) of Newport News and Mary Jackson of Hampton; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A homegoing service was held Monday in Mt. Hope Apostolic Faith Church of God, Williamsburg, with the Elder Timothy Thomas officiating.
Interment followed in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
Professional service was entrusted to the staff of Whiting’s Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
