Beauty and charm was overflowing Saturday night at the Womanless Beauty Pageant that was sponsored by the Sedley Recreation Association.

Tina Carr “Thumper” Johnson, Hillary “Rotten” Felts, Lindsay Turner, Courtney Michelle Blythe, “Prissy” Womble and Rebecca Felts made their debuts with creative “designer” outfits, talents and wooing the judges hoping to be crowned Ms. Sedley Recreation Association 2009. MC- Gary

Cross did a grand job trying to keep the ‘girls’ in order. Judges Mayor Jim Councill, Phyllis Bradshaw and Laurie Brittle had a very difficult job — the contestants paused at their table to hopefully get points.

The Queen was crowned and given 11 red roses with the help of Boyd Felts and Whitley Brittle. ‘She’ was crowned by current Ms. Sedley Recreation Association Brianna Whitley.

The Sedley Recreation Association would like to thank all who took part in any way to make this a successful fundraiser for the July 4th Fireworks Fund.
