Elizabeth L. Zoellner
BETHEL, OHIO—Elizabeth Lane Zoellner, 84, died May 14, 2009, at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born June 9, 1924 in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Irene Daughtrey Benton.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Garland E. Benton and Edward M. Benton.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Zoellner and wife Ardys of Alice Springs, Australia and Mitchell Zoellner and wife Susan of Westerville, Ohio; a granddaughter, Allison Zoellner: two grandsons, Kurt Zoellner and wife, Sandy and Kent Zoellner; a brother, William J. Benton and wife Peggy of Franklin, and a sister-in-law, Irene P. Benton of Richmond.
A resident of Bethel for most of her adult life, she was retired from a secretarial position in the Bethel-Tate School system.
A memorial service was conducted by the Rev. Bill Bowdle at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel on June 2.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
