Burnette Walden-Price
BRANCHVILLE—Burnette Walden-Price, 72, died May 29, 2009, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Johnny Walden and Lula Lashley was born Dec. 15, 1936 in Southampton County.
Survivors include four children, Sandra Stephenson and Monica Turner (Frank), all of Branchville, Lorenzo Price of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Jeffrey Price (Sharon) of Suffolk; one sister, Georgia Parker of Brooklyn; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Galilee Baptist Church, Branchville, with Pastor Willie Diggs officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Faison’s Funeral Home, Seaboard, N.C., was in charge of the arrangements.
