Kevin E. Jenkins
PORTSMOUTH—Kevin Eugene “Sweetness” Jenkins, 47, of the 3500 block Commonwealth Ave., died May 19, 2009, in Newport News.
Survivors include his mother, Gwendolyn A. Pett of Portsmouth; three sisters, Gwendolyn Mitchell of Franklin, Marlene Wright (Anthony) of Portsmouth and Laurel Wilcox of Virginia Beach; brothers, Robert L. Jenkins (Antonia) and Waymond L. Jenkins Jr. of Chesapeake; two uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by grandparents, Maybell and Albert Turnage.
A funeral was held Tuesday in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
Burial was in Lincoln Cemetery.
