Jim D. Shea
PORTSMOUTH—Jim Dale Shea, 75, died May 7, 2009.
He was a native of Miltonvale, Kan.
Mr. Shea retired as a surveyor for NOAA and was a member of Portsmouth Masonic Lodge 100, Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies, Khedive Shrine Center, Khedive Auto Unit and Virginia Chevy Lovers.
He was predeceased by his brother, Jack Shea.
Survivors include his daughter, Jackie S. Boyce and husband Gary of Newsoms; a son, Jimmy E. Cutshaw of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Darlene Ebi of Fresno, Calif., Mary Lou Breen of Kingswood, Texas and Laura Wenlandt of Manhattan, Kan.; a brother, Dean Shea of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher, Abigail Boyce and Jacob Beck; and special friend, Mary Byrum.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. today in West Park Church of Christ by the Mr. Keith Lewis.
