I have been overwhelmed and humbled by the love and sympathy that has been shown to me and our family since Tuck’s death.

Your editorial (“Inspired by Tuck Hudgins,” Sunday, May 3) and Richard Childress’ tribute (“My tribute to Dr. Tuck Hudgins,” Friday, May 1) are so special to us. I want to thank publicly everyone who has been so caring and helpful to us. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to all who loved Tuck.
