James W. BonDurant Jr.
SUFFOLK—James Woodrow BonDurant Jr., 62, died May 2, 2009.
A native of Princeton, W.Va., he was the son of James Woodrow BonDurant Sr. and Mary Lee BonDurant. He retired from Virginia Natural Gas after many dedicated years.
He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chuckatuck.
His past affiliations include Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, Rotary member, chairman and volunteer of United Way in Suffolk and a Kiwanis member in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela BonDurant Wright of Windsor and Virginia Lee BonDurant of Suffolk; one brother, Thomas BonDurant of Jackson, Miss.; one grandchild, Carson D. Wright; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held today at 6 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Ernest N. Graham III officiating.
