Eunice C. Gourdine
CHESAPEAKE—Eunice Cutler Gourdine died April 26, 2009, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
The Newsoms native was born Feb. 26, 1934, to the late Dexter Cutler Sr. and Nellie Faulkins Cutler.
She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church, Philadelphia, and attended Shekinah Christian Fellowship, Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Gourdine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Gourdine.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela Stone and Ava Frasier; two sons, Jerry Gourdine and Willie Gourdine Jr.; one sister, Lois Cutler Myrick; three brothers, Dexter Cutler Jr., Henry Cutler and Bishop Samuel Cutler; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Burial will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boykins.
