To the Editor:

Having just spent several days as a patient in Southampton Memorial Hospital, I am glad to tell the public how well I was treated by every employee from the housekeepers to the top of the entire staff.

My doctors, nurses and all who treated me in any manner were excellent and could not have been more caring. For those who fixed my meals and did not directly come in contact with me, I also want to thank them for their fine service.

From time to time you hear complaints about our hospital, but I have spent time in other hospitals and this is as good as any that I have experienced.

We are lucky to have such a nice facility and the good people to go with it.

Thanks to all who helped my recovery.
