LASKER, N.C.—Frances Davis Liverman Daughtry, 88, died April 19, 2009.
Mrs. Daughtry was born May 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Macon Edward Davis and Lottie Flythe Davis.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Lee Liverman, and her second husband, Luther Daughtry, and a step son, Luther Joyner Daughtry.
She was a member of Lasker Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Fred Lee Liverman and wife Sue of Ahoskie, N.C.; two step-daughters, Ann Hicks and husband Larry of El Paso, Texas and Gloria Payne and husband Claude of Maryville, Tenn.; and two sisters, Martha Davis Warren of Rich Square, N.C. and Peggy Davis Ferguson of Newsoms; 11 grandchildren, including Sheila Liverman Forbes and husband Stewart of Sanford, N.C., Edward Lee Liverman and wife Julie of Roanoke Rapids, N.C. and John Andrew Liverman and wife Kari of Richmond; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Lasker Baptist Church in Lasker with the Rev. Rick Barnes and Father Jeff Douglas officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ahoskie Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson.
