Clarine F. Lassiter
RALEIGH, N.C.—Clarine F. Lassiter, 82, died April 13, 2009, at The Laurel of Forest Glene.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include two daughters, Ada Lassiter of Garner and Ella Mebane of Angier, N.C.; three sisters, Agnes Saunders of New York, N.Y., Josephine Simmons of Bronx, N.Y. and Millie Powell of Murfreesboro, N.C.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was to be held at noon on Saturday at New Haven Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Lloyd Gatling officiating.
Burial was to follow in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, N.C., are in charge of the arrangements.
