TEMPLE HILLS, Md.—Flora Britt Parker died April 12, 2009, while a patient in Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
The Franklin native was educated in the Franklin Public School System.
She attended Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Temple Hills.
Survivors include six children, George, Debra, Joanne, Kim, Charka and Chara; two brothers, William Britt and Willie Britt; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A homegoing service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Mount Joy Holiness Church, Franklin, and the Rev. Chester Banks is delivering the message.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. On today from 6 to 7 p.m., the family will receive friends at the funeral home.
Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.
