CEO’s brief stop in Franklin didn’t impress her

To the Editor:

I wonder if the CEO of International Paper Co. hoped to receive points for making a stop over at the Franklin mill?

If so, he gets none from me.

He states that revenue is down, and for that reason many jobs are on the line. He regrets this.

How many jobs could be saved if he gave just $1 million of his eight-figure income back to the company?
