Martha F. Nichols
FRANKLIN—Martha F. Nichols, 83, of Franklin, died April 4, 2009, at Fort Washington (Md.) Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at East End Church of God with Bishop Steven D. Willis officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nichols was a retired employee of Union Camp Corp. and a member of East End Church of God, where she served on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Nichols; her parents, Lonnie and Martha Fields Ricks; and a son, Charles J. Nichols.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy L. Watson and her husband, Lloyd, of Franklin, Paula D. Ware and her husband, James, of Oxon Hill, Md., Glenda R. Adams and her husband, James, of Pasadena, Md., and Sheri Y. Cross and her husband, Lloyd, of Franklin; a brother, Elonzo Ricks and his wife, Vida, of Franklin; a sister, Doris Flythe of Franklin; a brother-in-law; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
