To the Editor:

On Friday, March 6, I fell in the parking lot of a local shopping center and received injuries. Several people came to my aid. Trying to stop the bleeding with a towel to my facial injuries, I do not know who helped me.

One gentleman was kind enough to call Franklin Rescue and my husband at his employment, and one lady sat behind me and comforted me and held a towel to my face to stop the bleeding. Another lady also tried to help me.

I would very much like to personally thank them and others who helped me. They should contact me at 562-6875.

I sincerely thank Kim Rideout and Edward Gardner of Franklin Fire and Rescue and Dr. K. Pinland, Nurse Angelia Mavredes and the ladies at Southampton Memorial Hospital X-ray department for their compassionate care.

Family, neighbors and friends have been wonderful. Angels do walk among us. I can’t think of a nicer place to live than the city of Franklin.
