Mary F. Pope
CAPRON—Mary Frances Moore Pope, 71, died March 29, 2009, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Skippers, a daughter of the late William Henry and Virgie Hobbs Moore.
She was a loving and faithful wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Arthur Lee Pope Sr.; one daughter, Debra Pope Baines (Donnie); one son, Arthur Lee Pope (Cathy), all of Capron; five grandchildren, David Thomas Pope, Wesley Baines (Abigail), Katie Baines, Nikki Baines, and Krystal Baines; one sister, Nancy Turner (Joey) of Emporia; and three brothers, Tommy Moore (Joyce) of Stuart, Stuart Moore (Wilma) and Tony Wayne Moore, all of Emporia.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Capron Cemetery with Pastor David Dillon officiating.
