Robert L. Perkinson
FRANKLIN—Robert Lee Perkinson, 78, died March 13, 2009, in Medical College of Virginia after a short illness.
Mr. Perkinson was a native of Southampton County.
He was preceded in death by his father William, mother Fannie “Eve” and wife Priscilla.
He retired after 20 years of service with Carson Whitley Trucking.
Survivors include his sons, Lee Tillery, Willie Perkinson, Clarence Perkinson, Bryant Perkinson (Domitia), Maurice Perkinson (Pearl) and Rodney Perkinson; daughters, Teresa Lewis and Christine Perkinson.
A funeral was conducted March 19 in Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel.
