Robert L. Powell
FRANKLIN—Robert Lee “Bo” Powell, died March 21, 2009.
The Southampton County native was born Dec. 1, 1922 to the late Ernest and Armeda Person Powell.
He was retired from Narricot Fabrics in Boykins and he was a member of Vision Church International Ministries.
Survivors include many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and his devoted caregivers, niece and nephew, Dorothy and Charlie Ashburn Sr.
A homegoing service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Vision Church International Ministries, 27198 Shady Brook Trail, Courtland, with Pastor, the Rev. Cory D. Benson delivering the eulogy.
Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
On the day of service, the family will assemble by noon at the home of Charlie and Dorothy Ashburn, 201 Washington Street, Franklin, to depart for service.
