COMO, N.C.—Mamie D. Wiggins, 77, died March 14, 2009, at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.
A native of Northampton County, she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include five sons, Arnold Wiggins, Michael Wiggins and Robert Wiggins, all of Ahoskie, N.C., Timothy Wiggins of Philadelphia, Pa. and Gregory Wiggins of Sydney, Australia; five daughters, Mamie V. Keyes of Como, Connie Gregory of Newport News, Sylvia Miller and Gwendolyn Jernigan, both of Ahoskie, N.C. and Lynn Cherry-Miller of Hampton; one brother, James H. Daniel of Como; three sisters, Eulalah Warren and Alma Johnson, both of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Elsie Porter of Irvington, N.J.; 26 grandchildren and se
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Woodland, N.C. by Ronald Chavis.
Burial will be in Carver Park Cemetery.
Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie is handling the arrangements.
