Jessie M. Lankford
SUFFOLK—Jessie Mae Lankford, 88, died March 2, 2009.
She was a native of Suffolk and a nursing aide for The Chesapeake Retirement Home — when she retired she became a resident of the home.
Survivors include several cousins, Joyce Faison and husband Richard, Judy Harcum, Joan Sloan, Gloria Probert and Maggie Vaughan.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today in Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Roger Crump.
Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
