A 20-year-old man was shot and killed late Tuesday night in front of an apartment on Oak Trail, investigators said.

Brandon Keith Turner was shot multiple times at about 10:45 p.m., according to Det. Cpl. Richard Morris, spokesman for the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office.

It was the second time Turner, who had a Petersburg address, had been attacked at the apartment complex. He was shot in the face at point-blank range in late May, Morris said.

Eric Owen Parker, 18, of Franklin was arrested and charged in that shooting.

“The matter is under investigation,” Morris said about the Tuesday night shooting death.
