The Franklin High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will play a doubleheader Saturday in the Virginia High School League Group A quarterfinals.

The Broncos and Lady Broncos will take on Altavista at Longwood College in Farmville. The girls’ game will start at 2 p.m., and the boys’ game will follow at approximately 3:45 p.m. A ticket to both games will cost $8.

Advance tickets will be sold at Franklin High. For every ticket sold, the school gets to keep $1.

Both teams need a win to advance to next week’s semifinals at Virginia Commonwealth University.
