Missie H. Ellis
PORTSMOUTH—Missie H. Ellis, 81, of the 200 block of Armstrong Street, died Feb. 16, 2009.
She was born Nov. 3, 1927, to the late Johnnie and Ethel B. Hardy in Branchville.
Survivors include her daughter, Mitzi P. Jackson (Ronnie); one grandson, Michael L. Ellis Jr.; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life was held Monday in Third Baptist Church.
Interment was in Rising Star Baptist Church Cemetery, Branchville.
Corprew Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
