Congress welcomes our 44th president.

President Barack Obama is treated just like any white politician by his staff and Congress.

Obama’s naiveté is evident as he blunders through his first 15 days as president, suffering through the incoming process. Did he really think the likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi would allow him to hit the ground “in charge”? No way.

He asks Congress to create a stimulus bill that he will spend his political capital getting passed that will address our economic disaster, created mostly by Congress.

As the president suffers through getting his sometimes dubious nominees confirmed, Congress does, indeed, create a bill. Unfortunately, it is loaded with all the pork it has held in abeyance for years. Stuck with it as written, the president must now sell it. What was that about putting lipstick on a pig?

In this great land of purported equality, the new president, a black man, has been given equal treatment. Yes, our new president is being greeted the same as most of his predecessors, miserably equal.

Welcome to the Washington inside, Mr. President.

As you kneel down with your evening prayers, note that, indeed, all presidents are treated equally and pray that you, a good man, can control those idiots in Congress somehow.
