Tevis B. Taylor
FRANKLIN—Tevis B. Taylor, 79, died Feb. 12, 2009.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1930 in Bell County, Ky.
She was a resident of Hampton for 46 years and was retired from the Siemens Corporation.
Mrs. Taylor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of, sacrifice for and devotion to family and for the wonderful meals she loved to cook and share with family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Walter Taylor, parents Herbert and Caroline Buell, and brother, Otis Buell.
Survivors include her son Fred W. Taylor and wife Betty of Poquoson; daughters, Judy Runion of Sedley and Joyce Jones and husband Delon of Rockhouse, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Victoria McCown, James Fleming, Lonnie Jones, Kevin Taylor, Carrol Fleming, Scott Fleming and Joey Jones; seven great-grand children; four sisters, Jeanette Casey, Flo Knopf, Jean Kelley and Darlene Bartley; three brothers, Herbert Buell Jr., Donnie Buell and Ronnie Buell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wright Funeral Home with Pastor Delon Jones, son-in-law of the deceased, officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, 206 W. Fourth Ave., Franklin.
