He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and he was always finding an excuse to be driving his black Chevy truck. He spent his weekend’s coon hunting and also loved to deer hunt with the Bent Barrel Hunt Club. He was employed as a groundskeeper at the Southeastern regional 4-H Center, Wakefield. He loved to ride his motorcycle, cut grass and he was good with his hands working on a truck or lawn mower equipment. He was a member of the Millfield Baptist Church, Wakefield and was an active member of the Millfield Youth Group. He ran the sound equipment of the church during services.
