She objects to offensive posts on Riverdale tragedy

To the Editor:

I am so disappointed in our community.

There have been more than 100 comments posted on The Tidewater News’ Web site regarding the accident at Riverdale Elementary and less than half of them should have even been posted. It has become a place of debating, arguing, finger-pointing and name-calling. I would think that at this point the TN would stop this ridiculous mess.

As I said in my post, a child of God was lost in a tragic accident and many were affected by this. We need to pray for this family and everyone involved. But for the family — and others — to have to see and hear of this crazy debating online is uncalled for.

Grow up, people. Where is your conscience? My prayers are for the people with so much anger right now. Give it to God, people! I would hope that the TN would put an end to this right away.
