Amos Eley
MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Amos Eley, 79, died Jan. 19, 2009, at Guardian Care Nursing Home.
Survivors include a brother, Vernon Eley of Murfreesboro; and three sisters, Theora Eley of Murfreesboro, Naomi Gatling of Baltimore and Ella Hawkins of New York.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Parker’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Fernando Temple Sr. officiating.
Burial was in the Eleytown Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, was in charge of arrangements.
