Phyllis J. Scott
NORFOLK—Phyllis Juanita Scott died Jan. 17, 2009.
She was born Nov. 24, 1951, to the late Jasper and Mamie Lee Scott.
Survivors included her loving children, Velnessa “Paulette” Hall (Sean) of Charlotte, N.C., Yolonda “Pinky” Scott and Alex “Al” Scott, both of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Fannie Mae Hines of Franklin, Nancy Mitchell and Annie Owens, both of Norfolk and Barbaranne Smith of Florida; three brothers, Jasper Scott of Sedley, McKenley Scott and Floyd Scott, both of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
Family and friends will assemble at the chapel.
