Norfleet J. Fennell
WOODLAND, N.C.—Norfleet Junius Fennell, 89, died Jan. 13, 2009, in Murfreesboro, N.C.
A native of Hertford County, he was a member and usher at Menola First Baptist Church, Woodland.
He was retired from Carolina Aluminum Co., Winton.
Survivors include two daughters, Emma L. Bazemore of Hampton and Gloria Faison of Menola, N.C.; two sons, Norfleet Fennell Jr. and Joe Fennell, both of Murfreesboro; foster children, Willie Roy Fennell of Ahoskie, N.C., and Jessie Vernon McGlohon of Murfreesboro; a sister, Elsie Long of Como, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, eight foster grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Menola First Baptist Church, Woodland, with the Rev. Johnnie Speller officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, N.C., was in charge of arrangements.
