Ingeborg Whitley
COMO, N.C.—Ingeborg Arndt Whitley, 56, died Jan. 16, 2009, at her home.
Born in Munich, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Ewald and Rosa Pauline Arndt.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, George Elmore Whitley Jr.; a son, Brian Kevin Whitley and wife Jill of Baltimore, Md.; brother-in-law, Vernon S. Whitley and wife Beate formerly of Murfreesboro, and their son, Robert R. Whitley; three sisters, a brother and a number of nieces and nephews in Germany.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Buckhorn Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Caulkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, NC 27910.
